Profile
Prokopê works with handpicked professionals who share its founder’s uncompromising commitment to excellence.
Christophe Collard, PhD (Brussels, 2009) trained as a literary scholar and has taught at universities and university colleges in Belgium, Spain, and China while having held research fellowships in the US and his second home, Canada. To date, he supervised 2 completed PhD dissertations, 80+ MA theses, and 50+ BA projects. The author of multiple A1 journal articles published by, among others, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, MIT Press, or Routledge, he equally wrote a monograph Artist on the Make (2012) that was shortlisted for the 2014 bi-annual book award of the European Society for the Study of English. Currently Professor of English and Communication at Antwerp Maritime Academy, he has combined his academic activities with copywriting and translation work since 2005 before starting Prokopê in 2019.
